The meaning

In China, the 9th day of the 9th lunar month is the time when chrysanthemum flowers bloom, signaling a cold winter is coming. Therefore, taking advantage of the warm days of the late autumn, people take advantage of the beautiful nature to go to the mountains to admire the scenery and drink chrysanthemum wine.

In ancient Vietnam, the population was densely populated in the same Red River Delta, where there were few hills and mountains, so few people had the habit of going to the mountains to admire the scenery and recite poems. For that reason, this event is less popular in Vietnam than other holidays.

Although not many people know about Trung Cuu Tet, in our country, people still consider this as a traditional holiday with the meaning of preventing diseases, and repelling insects, which is quite similar to Tet Doan Ngo.

In Vietnam, the population is often concentrated in the Red River Delta
