The festival is held on the 14th - 16th day of the 9th lunar month every year at the historical and cultural relic Dinh Thay Thim, Binh Thuan destination.

About the festival

For a long time, Dinh Thay Thim festival has become a religious gathering place for a large number of people. In the ritual part, there are basic contents of the village communal house sacrifice ritual. The main part of the ceremony is Thinh Sac Ceremony, Tinh Sanh Ceremony, Tuc Yen Ceremony,... But with Thay Thim's Palace, Thinh Sac Ceremony is replaced by the Nghinh Than Ceremony with the ceremony of inviting Thay Thim from the grave according to the way of the palace about 7 km roundabout. Before entering the shrine at the palace, the convoy will pass through Tam Tan village where in the past Thay Thim used to live and do good deeds to help poor people.

Besides the rituals, there are many more activities associated with serving the sightseeing needs of tourists as well as promoting the potential of LaGi town's tourism industry. The festival deeply reflects the traditional folklore values of the local community, showing respect and gratitude for the merits of Thay Thim (honored as the patron god) and grandparents, The ancestors had the merit of creating, protecting, and protecting the villagers to have a healthy, peaceful, prosperous and happy life.

About Relic Complex of Thay Thim Palace

The population of Thay Thim's palace relic is distributed including the temple worshiping Thay Thim and the tomb of Thay Thim. Thay Thim is a way to show the people's respect for the couple, a talented and compassionate Taoist who has made many contributions to helping people in their lives. After his death, in order to honor, remember and show the community's gratitude to Thay Thim, the local people built a palace to worship and since then, Thay Thim has been honored as the God patronizes and protects the villagers to be healthy, have a peaceful, prosperous and happy life.

Over nearly 150 years of existence, the architectural items of Thay Thim's Palace have been restored and embellished many times, so far still preserved quite intact in terms of design, architectural structure, materials, and decoration strict, ancient.
