The festival is steeped in folklore and reflects a time when the land was opened, representing the dreams and earnest wishes of Dong Thap Muoi farmers.

Where does the event take place?

The celebration will take place at the Go Thap Relic Site. It is located in two communes My Hoa and Tan Kieu, Thap Muoi district, Dong Thap province. This is a national relic site recognized by the Ministry of Culture and Information (now the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) since 1998, containing many cultural and historical values of the nation and humanity.

The festival is divided into two parts: the worshiping process, which includes numerous elaborate rites, and the celebration.
