From Hanoi: Sapa Trekking Tour

22h00: Take a night bus from Ha Noi to Sa Pa.

05h00: Arrive in Sa Pa. Check-in to take a rest in Sa Pa Town.

07:00: Tour Guide will pick you up at your hotel, start moving to Sapa which is far from Ha Noi around 6 hours by bus. 

09:30: Have first comfort break in Phu Tho Province.

11:30: Have lunch in Lao Cai City. 

14:00: Reach Sapa Town with colorful traditional costumes of Hmong, Dzao, and Tay ethnic People. Start trekking:

• Walk down to Y Linh Ho, a village inhabited by the Hmong minority. This is a great opportunity to take photographs of hereditary terraces that are estimated around 100 years old.
• Trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain. Black Hmong is one of the biggest minority groups in the Sapa area. They are proud of their culture and keep their traditions and way of living. There are still a lot of traces of the past that can be seen: rudimentary houses, stone walls around homes…
• Visit Lao Chai Village where you will visit the Hmong hometown. 
• Continue to Ta Van, an established Hmong and Zay village. Here you will be warmly welcomed by a local Zay family.

Check-in Homestay in Ta Van Village. Walk around the village and discover the culture of the Zay People.

18h00: Cooking and having dinner with a local family.

Stay Overnight at Homestay in Ta Van Village. Finish Day 1!

Meals Included: Lunch, Dinner.

Enjoy a cup of hot coffee or tea and discover your homestay’s surrounding area and the nearby rice fields.  

09:00: After breakfast, you will be taken uphill into the mountain till the waterfalls of Giang Ta Chai. 

• Enter the Red Dao area where you will learn more in detail about their culture and daily life. 
• Pass through Bamboo forest
• Head to the waterfalls by taking an alternative trail and across a second hanging bridge.

12:00: Have your lunch in Giang Ta Chai village at a small, local restaurant run by a Hmong family. 

• After the break, make our way to Su Pan Village, a community of the Black Hmong minority.

We will then make our way back to Ta Van Village. Have dinner. 

Overnight at Ta Van Village. Finish Day 2!

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Wake up at the Homestay and have breakfast here. Say goodbye to the local family. 

08:00: After having a nice breakfast, we will then start our third day trekking to Lao chai, Y Linh Ho.

• You will then head down to Y Linh Ho village and have lunch at a small, traditional restaurant ran by a local Hmong family.

Trek back to Sapa Town. 

• Uphill on a small trail to Ham Rong mountain where you will get to see the Fansipan mountain 3.143 m, which is the roof of Indochina, and enjoy a panorama view of Sapa town.

Arrive at SaPa Town, you can visit the town for visiting or shopping. 

15:00: Take the bus back to Hanoi. 

21:00: We arrive at Hanoi City, drop off at the Hotel. Trip ends!
