The Cua Viet Tourism Area in Gio Linh District, in the central province of Quang Tri, will host the 2023 Vietnam Cultural and Culinary Festival from April 28 to 30.
The event, with the theme "National Soul - Taste of Homeland," will include roughly 80 booths serving food from three different parts of the nation.
The Vietnam Cultural and Culinary Festival begins with a greeting art show that conveys the festival's ethos. Many performances by actors, artists, and artisans, are included in the art program, which showcases cultural hues from all across the country through music, dance, and culinary activities.
The festival is planned to contain roughly 80 food stalls from three areas and a variety of drink stalls, offering a journey for guests to experience the essence of Vietnamese culture and cuisine via exhibits. The pavilions are organized into three sections based on the characteristic pictures of the three regions: Northern specialty stall area, Central specialty stall area, Quang Tri specialty stall area, and the Southern regional specialty stall area. There will also be booths for businesses and sponsors with great culinary goods in the fair area.
The festival will take tourists on a cultural and gastronomic trip
The quintessence performance ceremony of Vietnamese food, in particular, will include an introduction to the cuisines of the three provinces through performances by prominent chefs. The performance not only focuses on showcasing cooking methods, but also establishes a link and expresses the significance of each meal and drink, bringing together modern culture, sentiments, and thoughts linked together. Visitors to the event will enjoy the unique Sunset Chill music program, which features a variety of musical styles.
The festival is a major cultural and culinary event conducted around the country's most important holiday, Reunification Day, to celebrate the richness and originality of Vietnamese cuisine in general, and central cuisine in particular.
This is also one of a series of stimulating activities to serve the reopening of tourism in the new normal state, promoting and recognizing the cultural, historical, and human values of Quang Tri, which attracts a large number of tourists.
