According to the French Embassy in Vietnam, the greatest French cuisine festival in Vietnam, called Balade en France will stage from April 14 to 16.

In 2023, a number of extraordinary cultural activities have been held in celebration of the significant anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and France, which falls on April 12. The most notable event is "Balade en France," which is commemorating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between France and Vietnam and showcases French cuisine.

The presence of French gastronomy and products is abundant in Hanoi and all of Vietnam due to history and a shared appreciation for "eating well," according to Nicolas Warnery, the French ambassador to Vietnam. This is an important aspect of our "shared cultures". The 50th anniversary of the ties between the two nations is being commemorated with this slogan as well.
Balade en France Festival 2023
The 2023 Balade en France festival will follow the previous two occasions in 2018 and 2020 by taking place from April 14–16 at Ly Thai To Plaza and the pedestrian street surrounding Hoan Kiem Lake.
About this year's festival
With this special edition of the event, Vietnamese people will be roaming around a French market, where they will be invited to discover French agricultural and food specialties displayed at more than 40 stalls. Under the auspices of “Taste France”, the event will highlight elements related to French culinary products such as premium quality, responsibility, satisfaction, originality, and innovation.
Paysan Breton, Métropole, Red Apron, Marou, Saint Honoré, La Table Hanoia, French fruit and ham suppliers, France 24, and many other eateries, importers, and companies that promote French cuisine will participate in the event. The event offers attendees the chance to enjoy themselves while sampling high-quality French goods including milk, chocolate, bread, cheese, cold cuts, fruit, and wine.

In addition to the culinary space, "Balade en France" also has a variety of booths about tourism, hotel, and study abroad in France. performances on the main stage by professional and amateur singers, French film screenings, art classes, and hip-hop dance,... to give visitors a real walking experience in France.
