Dec - 17 - 2024

The Fansipan Rose Festival will be held in the final week of April 2023, together with a variety of creative events with a strong Northwest flavor. They will all provide a one-of-a-kind rose experience that guests have never had before.

Regarding Sapa

An expedition of the Department of Geography of Indochina (France) found Sa Pa in 1903 while surveying and mapping and chose it as a resort for French rulers and troops. The outline of a resort was developed in 1909, and the French government formally founded a Tourist Bureau in Sa Pa in 1917.

Through many ups and downs in history, Sa Pa tourism has maintained its position in terms of visitor numbers, revenue, and diversity of tourism products. Sa Pa destination is now increasingly meeting the standards to fulfill the demands of travelers, and at the same time place the brand on the regional and international tourism map.

What is Fansipan Rose Festival?

After the success of 2022, the Fansipan Rose Festival returns on a huge scale, with unique art acts, guaranteeing tourists wonderful experiences in the Sapa summer adventure of discovery.

About Fansipan Rose Festival

The festival held in 2022 at the country's largest rose valley, with an area of 50,000 m2 inside Sun Group's Sun World Fansipan Legend Tourism Area.

The Fansipan Rose Festival included over 10,000 climbing roses, including 1.5 hectares of old Sapa roses and approximately 100 types from England, France, Japan, and other nations.

The event attracts roses from all around the world

There will seldom be room for a one-of-a-kind Rose Festival like the one in Fansipan, where the mist in the early morning or late afternoon covers and embraces magnificent flower clusters, creating the illusion of clouds blossoming with roses.

Sapa climbing roses bloom in red and pink clusters with hundreds of blossoms that form crimson and light pink arches. Every summer, they captivate tourists.

This year Festival

Sun World Fansipan Legend resort will host the Fansipan Rose Festival from April 28 through the conclusion of Reunification Day and International Workers' Day holiday. This is the festival's second appearance in Sa Pa, and it promises to impress with its elaborateness and grandeur. The celebration will begin at the Fansipan cable car station on the site of Vietnam's biggest Rose Valley.

Fansipan Rose Festival in 2023

Sapa's specialties in April and May have been red and pink climbing roses.  The gates and the lovely climbing carpet will gradually bloom, providing an exceptionally romantic check-in area from Rose Valley to the Muong Hoa mountain climbing train route.

More than 100 types of flowers are standing with the native roses to show off their fragrances, including rare such as "million-dollar rose" Juliet, Aoi rose, Black Baccarat, Catalina, Golden Celebration roses, Maurice Utrillo, Rouge Royale, Eclair, and Spirit of Freedom.

Attending the festival is like being lost in a paradise filled with the colors and aromas of hundreds of roses that lead the way from the gate to the rose valley and around all corners of the tourist area.

A sky filled with breathtaking flowers will appear in front of your sight

On the days of the Fansipan Rose Festival, there will also be a procession of carriages, vintage autos, and trams decked with fresh roses along the town's main streets. Together with it, local artists and performers perform, resulting in an outstanding blend of modern and traditional culture. Numerous unique cultural events, like a fashion display with flower costumes and a Dao wedding performance, will also be replicated at Sun World Fansipan Legend.
