The festival takes place from the 4th to the 16th day of the lunar calendar's first month each year. The venue is the historical and cultural heritage site and the scenic and tourist area of Ba Den Mountain. This picturesque location is situated in Thanh Tan commune, Hoa Thanh district, Tay Ninh.

The Ba Den Mountain Spring Festival encompasses two major celebrations: the festival itself and the Feast of Ba Linh Son Holy Mother (Feast of Ba). A tapestry of spiritual rituals of the festival

The Ba Den Mountain Festival in Tay Ninh kicks off with the solemn Moc Duc ceremony. The ritualistic bathing of the revered statue in the early morning 4th day of the lunar at the temple. This ceremony is conducted with utmost seriousness, with outsiders barred from participation and the temple doors tightly closed, leaving only a few candle lights flickering.

Once the ritual concludes, candles are lit the temple doors open, allowing pilgrims to enter and pay their respects. Throughout this day, a series of traditional folk unfold, including puppetry-invitation singing, comedic traditional opera "Địa Nàng", flower offerings, the presentation of colorful trays, and traditional dances.

All the rituals of the Ba Den Mountain festival have a solemn Buddhist religious nature

The 5th day of the lunar marks the official Feast of Ba and is the liveliest day of the Ba Den Mountain Spring Festival. The pivotal ceremony on this day is the "Trình thập cúng", during which devotees offer ten items to the Lady, including incense, lights, fruits, tea, and cakes. On this day, monks take turns reciting scriptures before the altar dedicated to the Lady.

On the 6th day of the lunar New Year, the focus shifts to commemorating spirits, performing rituals for spiritual purification, and seeking blessings for the community. Visitors continue to flock to the Ba Den Mountain Temple, engaging in prayers and offering incense.

Following the official festivities, the Ba Den Mountain continues to attract pilgrims and visitors. The subsequent days witness a steady stream of pilgrims, both local and from afar, seeking spiritual solace and connection with the sacred site.
